3) Does it provide an opportunity for the business or industry? Or a threat? Explain.
Apple is recieving threat for their famous iPhone. The Google Android phone is becoming more popular everyday. This is because the Android was updated and made better and also made more available for everyone to get.

http://nbbusinessjournal.canadaeast.com/journal/article/1446762

1) What newspaper did you visit? I visited the Telegraph Journal.

 2) What article did you choose? I chose, "Growing unease of the middle classes."

 3) Does it provide an opportunity for the business or industry? Or a threat? Explain.      It provides a threat because the 30 highest economies have had a 50 percent increase of unemployment in only 3 years. It threatens to create a political and social instability that no one is prepared for.

I chose this article because of the great power it has over us. The more of us that become unemployed threatens our economy and our way of living a stable lifestyle.

a) What newspaper did you visit?
     I visited the Telegraph Journal.
b) What article did you choose?
I chose, "Raising our ICT game."
c) Does it provide an opportunity for the business or industry? Or a threat? Explain.
In this case the "business" is Costa Rica. Costa Rica has good rates about their economy on the World Economic Forum's Global Information Technology Report. They were ranked the 4th largest techonolgy-exporting country in the world. This provides an excellent oppurtunity for Costa Rica's exporting there technological products. They were also ranked 5th for foreign direct and technology transfer.

I chose this artical because it discussed technology helping a country or "business" with exporting their technological products.

Legal and Regulatory Environment

http://dailygleaner.canadaeast.com/search/article/1442034

      1.       What newspaper did you visit?
I visited the Telegraph Journal.

2.       What article did you choose?
I chose, “City Hall teams with environmental program.”

3.       What law or regulation was in question?
Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Climate Protection Program is in question.

4.       Does it provide an opportunity for the business or industry? Or a threat? Explain.
It provides a threat to certain businesses and industries because the Climate Protection Program is trying to prevent great amounts of greenhouse gas emissions going into the atmosphere. They are trying to make the air better and the environment in general but certain industries that need to give off the gases in order to make their products are endangered.

I chose this article because some businesses and industries are violating the regulation about gas emissions.
